Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University is conveniently located and easily accessible by various means of transportation. For your visit, we recommend considering the following options:
By Taxi
Taxi services are readily available at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Donmueang Airport, and throughout Bangkok. When taking a taxi from the designated airport kiosk, a 50 Baht airport surcharge will be applied in addition to the metered fare.
For those familiar with ride-hailing applications, Grab, a popular choice in Thailand, can also be a convenient option.
By Public Transportation
For visitors opting for public transportation, a convenient route from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Si Rat Station involves a combination of services.
- Airport Rail Link (ARL): Take the ARL from Suvarnabhumi Airport (A1) to Phaya Thai Station (A8).
- BTS Skytrain: Transfer to the BTS Skytrain at Phaya Thai Station (N2) and travel to Wat Phra Sri Mahathat Station (N17).
- MRT Pink Line: Change to the MRT Pink Line at Wat Phra Sri Mahathat Station (PK16) and continue your journey to Si Rat Station (PK10).
- STOU: STOU is approximately a 16-minute walk from Si Rat Station.

To ensure your comfort and convenience throughout the conference, we have provided lunch and refreshment breaks. While we haven’t included breakfast or dinner in our official program, you’ll find plenty of dining options nearby. Our on-campus canteen offers a diverse range of delicious meals, including Halal and vegetarian choices, as well as fresh seasonal fruits. Please note that the canteen only accepts payment in cash Thai Baht and is open on weekdays from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
For those who prefer to explore the local culinary scene, Muangthong Thani boasts a vibrant food scene with a variety of restaurants and cafes. Whether you’re craving international cuisine or authentic Thai flavors, you’re sure to find something to satisfy your taste buds.
